  • Salt & pepper (to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 medium onion (chopped)
  • 3/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 package (5.2 oz) Boursin Fine Herbs & Garlic cheese (softened)
  • 12 tablespoons parsley (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat with butter and olive oil.
  2. Season salmon with garlic powder, salt, and pepper; sear skin-side down for about 3-4 minutes per side until golden but not fully cooked.
  3. Remove salmon and sauté chopped onions in the same skillet until softened and golden.
  4. Stir in chicken broth and lemon juice with the softened Boursin cheese until smooth; let simmer for 4-5 minutes.
  5. Return salmon to the skillet, cooking in the sauce for another 3-5 minutes until fully cooked through.
  6. Adjust seasoning as needed and garnish with parsley before serving.
