  • 2 tablespoons baking powder
  • 3 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 2 tablespoons vegan butter or ghee
  • ¼ cup hot sauce
  • 1 tablespoon coconut aminos

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with foil. Place a wire rack on top.
  2. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels.
  3. In a large bowl, mix chicken wings with baking powder, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, oregano, cayenne pepper, and thyme until evenly coated.
  4. Arrange seasoned wings on the wire rack in a single layer.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes; flip and bake for another 20 minutes. Flip again and bake an additional 5-10 minutes until golden brown.
  6. For the sauce, melt butter in a saucepan and whisk in hot sauce and coconut aminos. Simmer for about 5 minutes.
  7. Toss baked wings in the sauce until well-coated.
  8. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve immediately.
