  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs, at room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 3 ½ cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cold heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Steep chamomile tea bags in hot water for about 10 minutes.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Cream softened butter and sugar until fluffy in a separate bowl.
  5. Add eggs one at a time and mix in vanilla extract.
  6. Gradually mix in dry ingredients and steeped tea until just combined.
  7. Spoon batter into lined cupcake pans and bake for 12-16 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Cool on a wire rack before frosting.
  9. Beat butter and honey together; gradually add powdered sugar and cream until fluffy.
