  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp clear vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg (room temperature)
  • 1 egg yolk (room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup rainbow sprinkles
  • 1 cup Golden Oreo pieces
  • 1/4 cup Golden Oreo crumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two cookie sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
  3. In another bowl, beat the room-temperature butter with both sugars until fluffy. Add the vanilla extract, egg, and egg yolk; mix until combined.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture while mixing on low speed until just combined. Gently fold in rainbow sprinkles and Oreo pieces.
  5. Scoop large balls of dough onto the prepared sheets (6 per sheet) and chill in the fridge for about 20 minutes.
  6. Bake one sheet at a time for 13–15 minutes until the edges are lightly golden. Sprinkle extra toppings while warm.
  7. Let cool on a rack before enjoying.
