Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup chopped chocolate
  • 1 cup vanilla yogurt
  • 1/2 cup sugar (white or brown)
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour (or gluten-free)
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup milk (unsweetened almond milk recommended)
  • Optional: 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180C/350F and line an 8 x 8-inch pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chopped chocolate gently. Let it cool slightly before whisking in the yogurt and sugar until smooth.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted mixture with flour, cocoa powder, and baking soda until just combined.
  4. Stir in your choice of milk and fold in chocolate chips if using.
  5. Pour the batter into the lined pan and spread evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean with some crumbs attached.
  6. Allow brownies to cool for about 10 minutes in the pan before transferring them to a wire rack.
