  • 8 oz. turkey strips
  • 2 large peaches
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Fresh thyme
  • 2 tsp. sea salt, divided
  • 1 tsp. fresh cracked pepper, divided
  • 1 tsp. oregano, divided
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. paprika, divided
  • 2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 large shallot, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, grated or pressed
  • Fresh basil and additional fresh thyme for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Season chicken thighs with salt, pepper, oregano, garlic powder, and paprika.
  2. In a sauté pan over medium heat, cook turkey strips until dark red, then set aside.
  3. Sear seasoned chicken in the same pan until golden brown on both sides (about 1-2 minutes each side).
  4. Remove chicken; add olive oil, shallots, and garlic to sauté until translucent.
  5. Deglaze the pan with chicken broth and simmer for three minutes.
  6. Stir in butter and honey until melted and combined; return chicken to the pan.
  7. Cover tightly and bake for 15 minutes.
  8. Layer peach slices on top; broil for an additional 3-5 minutes until softened.
  9. Serve garnished with fresh basil and thyme.
