  • 10.5 oz condensed beef broth
  • 2 1/2 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 2 cups long grain white rice
  • 10.5 oz condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 cups diced green peppers
  • 1 cup diced yellow onions
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese blend

Instructions

  1. Set your Instant Pot to 'Sauté Less' for 7 minutes. Melt margarine or butter and add ground beef, crumbling it as it cooks.
  2. Once the beef is mostly cooked but slightly pink, pour in the beef broth and water. Season with salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder.
  3. Gently push the rice into the liquid until submerged without stirring.
  4. Add cream of mushroom soup along with diced green peppers, onions, and mushrooms on top.
  5. Secure the lid and set to 'Pressure Cook High' for 7 minutes.
  6. Perform a quick release by turning the steam release handle to venting once cooking is complete.
  7. Carefully remove the lid and stir well to combine all ingredients.
  8. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top and mix until melted. Serve hot.
