  • 2 tbsp salted butter (for swirl)
  • 1 tbsp oat flour (for swirl)
  • 2 tbsp white sugar (for swirl)
  • 1/2 tbsp cinnamon (for swirl)
  • 1/4 cup salted butter (for streusel)
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar (for streusel)
  • 1/4 cup almond flour (for streusel)
  • 1/2 cup oat flour (for streusel)
  • 2 tsp cinnamon (for streusel)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine softened butter, applesauce, eggs, sugar, and vanilla; mix well.
  3. Add almond flour, oat flour, baking powder, and salt; stir until combined.
  4. In another bowl, mix melted butter, oat flour, sugar, and cinnamon for the filling.
  5. Prepare streusel by combining room temperature butter with brown sugar, almond flour, oat flour, and cinnamon.
  6. Grease an 8×8 baking dish; layer half of the batter, followed by half of the cinnamon mixture; repeat layers.
  7. Bake for about 25 minutes; add streusel topping and bake for an additional 18 minutes.
  8. Allow cooling before slicing and serving.
